Digital Video Camera for Kids

Now your kids or your little brother / sister can produce their own home-made movie. Mattel recently introduced a new child-size digital video camera, called Vidster, which they described as a “movie studio in the box for kids”.
The digital video camera bundled with a collection of easy-to-use photo (and video) editing software. Of course, since the target market of Vidster is kids, the software would be easy enough for those little children to use and play with.
Vidster digital camera, weights 11 ounces, has a 32 megabytes on-board memory. It would only record up to 10 minutes of video, but that’s more than enough for a kid. There’s an SD expansion slot though, so if you want, you can use it to upgrade the storage capacity up to 512 megabytes.
Again, since the target is children, 8 years and older, the digital camera has been designed for a simple operation. It can be controlled with one hand and the five switches. It won’t be hard to teach your kids (or little brother/sister) to operate it.
Vidster runs on four AA batteries. It has 1.1-inch color LCD screen, 2X digital zoom, and able to take 1.3-megapixel still images.
